On Wednesday 29th March we were taken to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall on what was a beautiful early spring morning with blossoms everywhere. Our guide Ben offered to take Lins’ heavy camera with big telephoto lens so that she would be able to negotiate the Wall (walking over 5 miles) without lugging the Canon and concentrate on wide angle scenic shots. However Ben was able to use the Canon 7D and took a large number of great shots including the Wall, birds in flight and our group walking on the wall.
