We heard recently that scarlet honeyeaters were spotted in the Jumping Creek Reserve in Warrandyte, so last Saturday went there, only 10 minute drive from our home, to see if we could spot them.

After about half an hour of looking, along with a couple of other bird photographers, we found what we were looking for, luckily happy to dart around us on some low branches. I’ve posted a few shots here…….
