Some Singapore Birds

Tomorrow’s our last day in Singapore after a hectic stay of just over a week – three 12-hour days were spent with birding pal Leslie Fung who did a great job guiding us around the many birding sites on the island. The rest of the time we were on our own, exploring from our base at Changi Village. This included a couple of days on Pulau Ubin island, and a full day at the Singapore Gardens. A highlight (unless you were the green pigeon) was the sequence taken by Lins of a Japanese Sparrowhawk taking a Green Pidgeon on the path at Malcolm Park – see picture below.
