Arrived in downtown Cairo this afternoon – quite different from anywhere else we have been to…it’s a city of over 20 million people, shrouded in smog and choked by cars. We ventured out on foot from our Steigenberger Hotel near Liberation Square which is a short walk to the Nile via the Square and outside the Egyptian Museum. Tomorrow it’s the pyramids and Sphinx! Hopefully more interesting shots to show!
